Looks like Europe 10 - 6 USA going into tomorrow’s singles in Ryder Cup

Fantastic effort by Europe after being 3-1 down after first session

How does the whole team win a match? Do they combine everyone's par score and lowest total wins?
And how long does a match usually last?

12 players per team

Days 1 and 2

Four balls
- 2 players from Europe v 2 players from USA
Each player plays their own ball - lowest score per hole wins the hole. Whoever wins must holes wins that game and gets 1 point
4 matches of four balls days 1 & 2

So 8 points on offer

Foursomes
- 2 players from Europe v 2 players from USA
Each team shares one ball - they take it in turns after each shot. Lowest score per hole wins the hole. Whoever wins must holes wins that game and gets 1 point
4 matches of four balls days 1 & 2

So 8 points on offer

So after 2 days 16 points on offer

Day 3 (tomorrow)
Singles
Each player from Europe plays a player from USA
each match lowest score wins the hole. Whoever wins most holes wins that team a point

So 12 points on offer

In total 28 points on offer

So to win Ryder cup your team needs at least 14.5 points

So what happens if both sides score the same score per hole?

I thought I'd complete 15k posts by the end of 2018 but due to the activity crisis, I haven't even completed 14k yet!

How can you not love someone who loves cheese toasties?
The thing I've always had is a variation where you dip it in an egg/milk mixture before pan frying. I always knew them as just 'eggy/cheesy sandwiches' - though it seems to essentially be a Monte Cristo without ham, but I haven't seen a common name for them.

Highly recommended.

Ah that's called Eggy Bread, we had it a lot in France. :)
