Why does life suck the older you get? I've now reached a level of pessimism that I don't think I can shake and just naively let things be and also constantly questioning the point of life. Working for what? To have a house and family which governments and corporations are making increasingly difficult to do compared to generations past and we're all meant to believe its just "happening" organically whilst also full well knowing how crooked government and banks are.

I feel what we might be getting today could be a dream for our past generations. And our future generations will get something that we would never have thought could exist. Things were never easy and they were never meant to come easy. Everything just requires is a certain amount of hardwork. If things are becoming increasingly difficult then we are also being gifted with superior knowledge and wisdom from our past generations. Everything has a balance and this is the beauty of life. Instead of complaining we could rather look at the positives. I am sure it could make things a lot easier.

One day you'll tell your story about how you overcome what you went through, and it'll be someone else survival guide.

I use to think like this, until recently had a life changing situation and now I am enjoying everyday.

I understand there needs to be difficulty to grow but basic human necessities are being compromised slowly slowly to benefit a few. I'm not really speaking from a complete individual perspective just as a whole idk

@Untouchables_666 do you mind me asking what, I had something serious happen last year regarding my health but I still think like this... At the same time these are just random thoughts, in general I'm very laid back about some stuff and try to keep myself busy with goals I want to achieve

Shits and giggles mate, that's life. I can tell you it isn't much funny being me sometimes. I'm only writing this because it's the best thing to do to take my mind away from work and not one ****er speaks to me here. At least you have friends and people both on here and in the real world who know you exist.

Just a thought, everyone wants new members on their forums but yet no one engages with said new member? I recently joined a football site and they're desperate for new members but the natives behave in such a way it drives new members away. There is a common thought that if you didn't join a web forum during a particular period of it's development then it is hard to get involved due in part to the increase of trolling, catfishing and general 'naughtiness' a lot of forums are a bit of a clique fest as the members generally circle the wagons in defence than be welcoming fearing everything than being welcoming? Are the days of the web forum being transparent still a thing or are they the domain of the select few?

Just a random thought.
