This looks fantastic. World Cricket Championship definitely has serious competition now. I have always been happy to see Nautilus as a company grow. Great work Anuj and team.

I thought so too. They did mention at the end of the video that more surprises. Probably one is that.

Nautilus has always been a hardworking indie studio. I do not know Anuj personally but have spoken to him via email, linkedin at lengths. The vision he and his team has is fantastic. I am pretty sure Real Cricket 18 will set good standards going forward for cricket games on handheld devices. I wish them good luck and cannot wait for March to have this released.

Game looks promising with DRS, presentation ceremony etc.. I think I've seen that gameplay (lofted shots) somewhere or in some other game, but not sure though.

Looking forward to it, really good in terms of first impression.

Full of microtransactions? At 2:18 you can see two in-game currencies, no doubt at least one is bought with real money. Most mobile games completely lack substance and just funnel people towards the microtransactions, either by making the game progress at a snails pace or just lock you out from playing until you have enough "lives" which regenerate over time (unless you pay).

The short snippet of the menu showing these currencies suggests this will be more of the same.
