Sad isn't it?

KP was in bad form. Not one hundred, I dont even think he made two fifties.

Monty would get about 2 wickets every 40 odd overs.

KP did pretty well for me, not played for about 5 years now for england but still playing at county level at 40!

Pietersen is immence in my game average around 65-70 in tests after 50, and about 60ish in One Day games. Strauss is also amazing in both forms averaging just less than 60 in tests and 55 in ODI

On ICC05, I just signed KP for the first time - when he is now 39!!! 77 FC hundreds in his career, and his wage is still around 45,000 meaning he still has some ability yet. Not the best in my squad, but I plan to use his part time offspin seeing as he is now the only batsman in my team who can bowl decent spin. And all that experience should be plenty useful...

Not for me, averaged 20 in the 5 Test Ashes series. Hopefully he comes good. I gave him Batting Technique the whole series.

stick with him, he gets better and better, 29-33 he hits his peak and is fantastic, should end up with an avg around 50 in test at least

give him batting practise, that is would id do personally

thats a really good signing, he could still get 1000 first class runs if he playes every game.
He scored 1038 runs the season before! And he's looking good for me this season too. He doesn't make the first XI on batting merit (I have some very good re-gens), but he makes it due to his very useful part-time spin. My 5th bowler now.

Michael Vaughan is a great part-timer! Everytime I bowl him he gets wickets!
