Securom problems already!

The pc version landed on my doorstep this morning from shopto.net
Game installed perfectly, but wont start. I'm getting the securom window popping up telling me to insert the original disk! It is the bloody original! Has anyone else had this problem!? What can i do?

could you please post a screenshot of the error your getting.

Do you have daemon tools installed by any chance? If so try to disable that and or uninstall it first.

haha the epic problem with Secure rom!! i have this same problem with GTA IV,
just disable demon tools/power iso etcc:doh

As far I know, Securom is a solution for protecting the memory of the game and also to protect game from piracy. Securom has been used in Ashes Cricket 2009 (though not strongly) which is preventing.

Use the original DVD to play the game.

Are you playing it in Vista?

You need to remove what ever emulation software you are running.

uninstall deamon tools if you have installed it and let us know if the game works !!!

Looks like another emulation problem according to google. Remove your emulation software.

Try to run the game without the use of any other software. It seems that the EXE is preventing some kind of memory invoking. It happened with me too when I tried to play with the EXE.

How would I go about doing that? I'm a little confused and rather frustrated
