If you're not Paki, what are you Usy?

Exactly what the hell are you? A British-Pakistani? Fully British? Pakistani-British?

Anyway - even though it was "announced" Malik will remain captain till the end of the year, I doubt he will last that long. It seems to me that Malik will lose captaincy, Misbah-ul-Haq will take over, and Geoff Lawson will get lost.

If it wasn't for the ICC Champions Trophy, Lawson would be gone after Asia Cup, but we gotta have an Aussie here to show that Pakistan is safe for the Champions Trophy :p

The way that Malik has captained and played shows one thing - we do not deserve to be in the Asia Cup Final, even if a miracle of sorts occurs and we make it (beating India and Bangladesh, and India lose their next 2 games v Pakistan and Sri Lanka by big margins)

I'm not a 'Paki' I'm a Pakistani, it's my HipHop album, and I stick to my roots really well,

Nor I'm british, though Scottish.

EDIT: why the hell are you so happy that Geoff Lawson well be leaving, it's rather sad, and it shows how crap PCB are.

If Afridi is a bowler than Pakistan should play with 7 batsmen (keeper included) and 4 bowlers. Afridi should play as a bowler who can bat, because at the moment, his inconsistency with the bat is making your middle order very weak. I don't think Pakistan's approach towards an innings is great either. One of these days, it's not going to click, and when you don't have runs on the board and are a few wickets down then it is difficult to keep the tempo going. Personally, I think Pakistan should just open with Afridi. It's hit and miss but if he does get going, you'll get off to a very positive start that can lay the foundation for others to come. If he gets out, well, just move on, because he'll be playing as a bowler anyway.

:mad man, I've already said there are better bowling all rounders in Pakistan Domestic, named few, on "page 3".

Agree with you....Our opening pair doesn't click alot anyway...so if Afridi opens and fails, its not going to be a big deal anyway...

Karachi Xpress added 2 Minutes and 24 Seconds later...

Again...I say that there is no point in saying that there are so many better bowling allrounders in Pakistan domestic. Get them to the international level...they perform better and then I agree that there are better bowling allrounders in Pakistan domestic...

lol I can't, because if I was the chairman PCB, first thing I'd do is bring Asif and Shoaib back on what they are good at doing, playing cricket, and tell them no messing with peeps.

duh!! I'd actually make the country proud as the chairman.

I honestly doubt that...

I really do.
