Sim Singh's road to glory

There I was, my dream, my passion, my blood and my love for cricket just on my backyard. I loved playing cricket ever since I was 4 and moving into the UK became a lot more harder for me to find time to play some cricket, as I grew older my studies became a disturbance to my cricket, I watched a lot of cricket though like world cups and certain tours. I always wondered what it will be like to be a cricketer and how many of the players would've started their career. Oops forgot to tell you about my self, hello my name is Simranjit Singh and I live in the UK, I'm 16 years old and I will become 17 in November. I recently got my British nationality which means my dream to play for India will have to change to England, I've been a strong follower of the English recently and did watch us getting hammered against the Aussies, but every one have their days.

EP.2 - Just Having a little touch

So, after I finished my exams and all my GCSE's I had plenty of time to play cricket, it just so happens that I got picked for the school cricket team, we will just play a training game first before we play in an actual match. After getting the email I went straight to my garden and opened the shed to collect, what is the future for me and that is my bat and my ball. I all ways loved to bat first ever since I was good, but ever since I grew mature my hand began to direct at the ball, I started to love bowling in no time what so ever, I tried to copy some styles of real cricketer like Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh for slow bowling. My role is a Right hand batting all rounder I bowl right arm fast medium bowling as I do have decent pace in me. It's not just me who is in this path there is also my friend Zak, without his help I wouldn't have even known that the school has its own cricket team and he will follow me in my adventures, he is the bowler of our team, we all ways have arguments on who's the better player and we have never came to such a conclusion yet.

Great writing man especially love these lines "I tried to copy some styles of real cricketer like Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh":thumbs

Interesting! Am eager to see how this storyline goes as its really tough path for an all rounder to flourish in India. Good luck.

Oh, Zaheer is your school buddy? :p (zak)

My mistake, read the chapter 2 straight. With mentions of Zak, I didn't even expect to be a British one. Interesting!

^Yup, I noticed that nearly all of the my players in this section are all of the players that play for India, apart from Hedger, he was a great member, inspired from his story.

story like patiyala house movie

So I stepped in with my friend Zak and what we see is a room full of training facilities which we never seen before, apart from the little cones which we use as wickets when we play street cricket. Our coach told us to lineup in a straight line, he picks his training team by numbers of 1 and 2, therefor I wanted Zak to be on the opposite team to me so I purposly moved in front and just when I thought everything was going according to the script, one of the team had 2 extra players so there I was standing next to Zak and the coach says "You two move your butt to the other team". I was a bit upset, but still happy that I'm next to my friend Zak, the sad thing is we won't face each other.....
