Simon Jones

I've just bought Simon Jones into my Lancashire team, but I'm not sure if buying him was a good idea. I spent quite a lot on his contract, but I now realise his first class avarage is (about) 31 and he has been dropped by England. Do any of you have him, and if so, is he as good as he is in real life?

Sounds promising then. I've just played my first game with him, and he didn't do very well. Early days though...

hes pants for england wen i use him, sumtimes he gets 2 or 3 wickets, but never a 5 fa

Just decided to start a season as England prefered Tremlett against Bangladesh to see how he would do he picked up 10 w but got slogged around the park so i thought id play Jones against the Aussies in the 20-20 match and he got slogged to and in his last over he did great it was 4 runs - wicket - wicket - HTB 2 runs - wicket - no run
he finished with 3 - 28 from his 4 overs tho

yeh tremlett is class in the game and always ends up one of the best test bowlers.

simon jones is good. usually at the end of the season you dont get many players of that quality to sign so if i had the cahnce i definately would.

another player who i rate is mark ramprakash he has done very well for me in the first 5 matches of my season

Thanks everone! He's made a pretty good start for me, especially in one dayers, and he has now been recalled by England.

(Although its bad new about the real Simon Jones )
