Not dwelled in this thread at all, but just to say. How mature does Danny Cipriani look. He's a 20 year old with the knowledge it seems which rivals Jonny Wilkinson.
He kept the backs moving forward, and generally put in a great display. If Jonny can accept that the fly-half position is filled, and wants to take on another position it would be fantastic, you'd have two worldclass kickers, and it seems Cipriani is one to behold in that, and it'd mean you have the experience and speed for it to be a winning outfit.
I do agree with Kev that Ashton shouldn't have been given the job, but rightly or wrongly, he's got the England outfit to step up in the times of need, the WC run was special, sadly they couldnt retain the WC, but who cares, all of the WC winners are pretty much retired now. Ashton needs to build this team round the special talant that is Danny Cipriani.
