Here are some tips which may help you in improving your batting. My Coach had given me these tips:

1-If You're there in a 50 over game first 6 overs of your innings are damn Crucial so to get settled by making runs play your shots in the V angle, which means Mid On and Mid off.

2-Get Your leg in the line of the ball

3-Use Leg Stump Guard

4-Be Cool Headed-The main

5-In a 50 overs game slog in the last 15 overs. This would lead to a great total.

6-While batting observe your body movements.See where your back leg is and where your head is.

7-Get your shoulder in the line of the ball while batting.

8-Make your basics damn strong

9-BE complete. If you play a defensive shot play it completely If you play a drive play it completely,

10-Always keep your supporting hand a bit loose,For Left handers Supporting hand is the Left Hand and for Right handers it's the right hand because if it's a bit tight it may lead to catches.

That's all for now...Hope it helps you

The leg stump guard is a weird one because people prefer different guards, they might feel more safe with middle and ff or they might want to attack the offside by having leg...

ya agree leg stump guard is more to players who like to play offside more but i prefer middle stump cuz its easier for me to play all round and easy to leave the bowl. people say u can get lbw so many times but i dont cuz i am not hitting the ball hard just timing and using the pace of the bowler

really not sure what guard to take, leg 2 or middle. I'm defensive and i prefer the leg side although most bowlers i play with play on off side what should i do. Ive been told by someone on this forum to take leg and shuffle but how do i know how far to shuffle?

lol shuffle will get you in trouble cuz it takes time and sometimes it can be a great skill but usally doesnt work just stand normally and take middle stump but make sure to your wrist when hitting thorough the leg side
