Thanks Colin, I'll give it a try.

Does anyone else have the Holland/Canada roster issue? I would assume that it isn't just my files that are messed up here. Nice Canadian uniforms though.

Ok everyone I have released the WCEXP update


I have fixed the sound problem with the minnow teams

Islandboy the roster problem you're having has also been fixed.

Go to the WCEXP page of the site and download the update. Also has some new goodies

I have found that I seem to lose sound when its time to change from bowling to batting etc.
So what I do is play 1 over minus sound. Save the game. Exit the game. Reload the game and bingo!!! the sound works....
Might be of help till a "fix" comes out

this might sound a little stupid, but when i downloaded the WC2003 patch from the site, i still have no holland, canada or namibia! :o

Make sure you have the fix installed first.
Then install the update.
Did you extract the files to your Cricket 2002 folder and overwrite files when asked?

Also if you have none of the new teams what do you get ? Scotland ? And if yes do they have Scottish kits etc ? If you dont new team then the WCEXP hasnt been installed properly.

i have the scotland team..like before : ) the world cup update as i installed it was installed pretty okay..and yes, i do have sound problems after installing, also the crowd going grey in AUS and NZ stadiums, and no canada/holland/namibia in the teams! Rest all is okay, as of i know...and im thinking of re-installing the whole game!! and as for the fix, dont know wat ur talking about ! :

InteLgenT, what is in your cricket2002/data/gfx/uniforms folder? Are there kits there for Namibia/Canada/Holland. Canada should have replaced the Scotland kit. Also check your faces folder and see if you have faces for the minnows. When you run the world cup 2003 exe you are given a choice of three teams and a check box for Aus/NZ crowd fix, if you don't have that you are running the wrong exe.
The fix is an updated exe and is available on Vineet's website, it also has updated sound to solve the commentary problems. The only part of the Scotland team you should have left after installing the update is the player names. Everything else should have changed. Are you sure you've installed all the files? Help this helps and good luck,

i have the kits for uhm namibia..but thaz it, no canada or holland..and yea..i do have da faces of em too. But when i ran the game there was no such choice or what ever ur saying mate, it started off normally..jus the background/music changes n all...and that was all. everything else was normal. And i don't get what u mean by running the wrong .exe. And yea, i uninstalled the game and re-installed it again...like its brand new with no add-on and stuff :P and ive extracted all the files and installed them from gamespy.com, if those are the one's your talking about, and i still have them all..dont know wether i shud install it again or not..incase it screws up the game again ! <_< ! : ) yea and thanks, it did kinda help me in makin me understand im no good at this hehehe...
