Great Tournament!

Great for cricket in the Caribbean and lots of players from the tournament could by part of West Indies Cricket in the future!

This is a great tournament. The good thing about it is its not overhwelmed totally by the bat, a score of 130 is a decent total here. Anyone see Ridley Jacobs bowling :D?

What does he bowl??
Kaluwithrana bowled once in a Twenty20 match in Sri Lanka I think. Bowls offspin.

It was just slow and strightish. He was on a hat trick at one point.

Penny seems to have dropped anyway, big scores are being racked up now. 160 chased down in one semi, with the other going along at over 10 an over at the moment.

Guyana have won the million dollar prize after Narsingh Deonarine hit the penultimate ball of the innings for six.

Final Result

Trinidad & Tobago innings: 175/6 (Ganga 47, Ramdin 38 not out)
Guyana innings: 176/5 (Dowlin 80, Sarwan 49 not out)

Guyana win by 5 wickets

A nice tournament, but making the bats the natural colour, the same with the ball and etc. as well as moving the tournament into the main Caribbean cricket season could make it better.

I've just finished watching the highlights, and I can honestly say, that was a thriller! What a finish and shows just how exciting Twenty20 can be.

I just watched a game (a really old one) on Ten Sports today because of the delayed Lanka tri-series and it was pretty exciting to see Kieran Powell. At only 16, he smacked his first ball into the deep mid wicket crowd before creaming the bowlers through the covers. I definitely foresee a real talent for the West Indies in the future.
