ECB accept Series Call of PCB

ijaz-butt.jpg

Today ECB's Chairman, Giles Clarke officially accepted PCB's request of Series in Pakistan. This request had been send few days back by PCB's chairman Ijaz Butt. We haven't got full information about the series but there will be 1 T20, 2 Tests and 5 ODIs (likely).

This would be the first home series in Pakistan after 1 year. ICC had disallowed International Cricket to be played in Pakistan after the Firing Incident on the Sri Lankan Cricket team that left Six Policemen and 2 Civilians dead.Several team members sustained minor injuries, including:
  1. Thilan Samaraweera
  2. Kumar Sangakkara (vice-captain)
  3. Tharanga Paranavitana
  4. Ajantha Mendis
  5. Chaminda Vaas
  6. Mahela Jayawardene (captain)
  7. Suranga Lakmal

Following the successful operation against the Terrorists in Pakistan, PCB's issued a notice to ICC to come and check the security measures taken by Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistani Government.

A five member delegation came from ICC's headquarter in Dubai, Uae. They seemed to be quite happy with the security measures. Talking to the media, they said," We are quite happy that Pakistan has excellent security measures and we are quite satisfied with it."

I'll be more impressed by the writing quality than the presentation which is optional. You can improve if you keep going and don't worry about comments/other stuff etc. Try some different presentations in various updates and which suits you the best, stick with it. Good Luck!

Pakistanis Jump for joy as Preparations for English Tour Start

119043.2.jpg

The real fans of the game!

Today was milestone in Pakistani Cricket. Today was when they finally got the right to host their first home series in more than a year. First they were stripped of 2009 ICC Champions Trophy and then many Friendly Series. An ICC delegation visited Pakistan and finally announced that Pakistan's security measures were according to what ICC wanted. PCB thanked ICC and Pakistan's President announced a one-day holiday for all people to enjoy this news.

In the streets, this news was enjoyed by playing "Gully Cricket", a less than 10 over game which required 2 per side or more which is played on roads and parks. This is very popular in rural and underdeveloped part of Pakistan and India.

A new International Standard Stadium in the Greens' Capital Islamabad will also be completed in time of The English tour which will be held in the fourth part of 2010.

On the other side, Coach Andy Flower is saying that Tour of Pakistan will be rather hard.Talking to the media he said,"We will have to practice hard because we will play with the T20 World Champs. The players are working well and i Think KP (Kevin Pietersen) will show his World T20 form in Pakistan too."

Much better start this time, you actually appear to be proof reading your writting, and whilst there are still a few grammatical errors, it is looking a lot better.

Lot's of Pakistani stories at the moment lol
