IPL Teams to reach Semifinals?

KKR's chances of winning against MI are very low, They have never beaten them till now.

So, I don't see KKR qualifying for semis.

My lineup is:
MI, RCB, DC, CSK.

Same lineup for me too, agreed! But if that lineup comes, MI face RCB and DC faces CSK (DC will be No. 2 due to 16 points, CSK will be No.3 because they have a better run rate than RCB). The top two teams will face off in the semis itself.

I wish to see a CSK vs MI or CSK vs RCB final. But I wont be surprised if CSK loses out in the semis. Its a big thing that we have made it till the semis, and its enough for me.

If DC beat CSK in the semis, then they will beat the other finalist to lift the trophy. My guess!

Made some statistical observations and figured out that we can still make it.

Now KKR has a NRR of -0.456 and If we score 500 runs in our next match and restrict MI to just 1 run in 20 overs,then we get a NRR of 1.404 and guess what??

KKR are virtually out. Cant see them even beating MI, let alone beating them by a monstrous margin thereby sneaking ahead of RCB's run rate.

KKR should have finished the previous game 2 overs earlier. Could have been in a far better position with the run rate. They have to crash into Mumbai tomorrow and beat them like MI is a novice team. It would be a huge huge miracle if that happens. I am not betting on it at all.
