Well, that will be plenty! Thanks for the rush of signups - the signups are officially closed now, but we have a very strong crowd of players - 12 in fact, and it will be interesting.

I have calculated a formula for points, which takes into factor the league reputation, the country ranking for international matches and other small features so we should be ready to go! The points system is a little too complicated to list here, but basically you earn points for playing league games and for playing well in them, as well as scoring goals, playing international games, playing at a higher rep club, etc.

Players are being added into the database. The game will start at July, 2009 in England. The first elimination will occur at the end of the first season, July 2010, and there will be updates every 3 months on each player. The player with the least amount of points at the end of the season will be sent home, so pray you find a club and don't get injured!

The FM Challenge has officially started.

Twelve 16 year olds begin their quest through Europe, starting as free agents. With 31 nations and 59 leagues to choose from to begin their quest, who will quickly seek out the big clubs and earn quick points, and who will stay in the smaller clubs to begin their career? More importantly, who will not find a club or become injured and miss out on vital points? And, who will not be standing come July 2010?

We will find out soon, with the first update coming later today, for October 2009.

Attributes are realistic. Players won't start incredible, but they do have a very high potential - for the sake of this game, nobody wants to see all players finish their career in the Blue Square. Everyone has the potential to play for their country, but many people might not - it depends on what clubs they go to, how much game time they get, the training facilities, etc.

I see why you also said it was an experiment. Is Pot. Ability around 200. What are the lowest leagues as well.

Nearly every league in Europe is loaded, there are 59 leagues so there is plenty of opportunity to make a mark on the footballing world.

I will do a quick July update now. The players have just been born into the world, but they have not had the chance to sign for any clubs - it is Day 1 of their existance.

I might rarely do some irregular updates of crucial signings, transfers, etc. but will just stick with the basics now.

October update coming soon.
