It will be run using Random.org in the following way:
- For each race weekend, I will assign each driver with an average lap time window e.g. (1:25.901 - 1:28.457) But depending on team performance, the lap time window will be lower or higher e.g. Mclaren will have a lower average lap time window than HRT.
- In Qualifying, each team will get 3 laps per session.
- In Q1, the slowest 7 drivers will be eliminated.
- In Q2, the slowest 7 drivers will be eliminated.
- In Q3, the remaining 10 drivers will battle for Pole Position.
- In the race, I'll use Random.org's Integer generator, to generate the lap times throughout the race, then using MS Excel, I'll add the times up, and arrive at a Total Race time. Then compile a list, and that will be the provisional finishing list.
- Then, Retirements and collisions will be added into the race using the following:
1-10 will be put into the random number generator,
1-5: No Damage
6: +15 Seconds
7: +30 Seconds
8: +60 Seconds
9: +90 Seconds
10: Retirement from the race
Those results will then leave me with the final results for the race, which I will post here.
Points will be awarded as per real F1:
1st: 25
2nd: 18
3rd: 15
4th: 12
5th: 10
6th: 8
7th: 6
8th: 4
9th: 2
10th: 1
Post Incentive Rule:
After each race weekend, I'll tally up the number of posts made by each driver.
- For each post, your average lap time will be reduced by:
Red Bull: 1 Post = 0.01
Ferrari: 1 Post = 0.01
Mclaren: 1 Post = 0.015
Mercedes: 1 Post = 0.015
Sauber: 1 Post = 0.025
Williams: 1 Post = 0.02
Renault: 1 Post = 0.02
Force India: 1 Post = 0.02
Toro Rosso: 1 Post = 0.025
Lotus: 1 Post = 0.03
Virgin: 1 Post = 0.03
HRT: 1 Post = 0.035
However, if a post is considered as spam,
- There will be a 5 hundreth of a second increase to your average lap time, (0.05)
- So, 5 spam posts is a quarter of a second increase to your average lap time.
