Fine i'll just drop you from the Soakers team then. :p

What does everybody think the minimum requirement for being Interviewed should be? I like 2,000 posts.

1,500 maybe?

I think it should be someone with authoritah or some sort of accolade. For example a news team member or someone who like won Battrick.

Post count shouldn't matter. Posters will without doubt nominate someone who posts quality posts and is remembered for them.

Yeah I suppose. People know for themselves which people post quality around here.

Point taken Puddle. No to the requirements idea then.

Drew I think it should be open to all PC members. :)

I don't agree with the post count thing. So what if people vote for their mates. Surely that means they are popular?

It could make them post spam.

Was just about to say that actually. Definitely a no to requirements on my behalf now. That is what this thread is for though.

Nah, why would you want someone with an accolade. Many people have put years of service without getting recognized.......

On second thoughts, I wouldn't mind it if it included Battrick finalists as well :p

I didn't mean forum-based mates I meant actual mates. Say for example myself nominates my newly joined mate mr.x with 4 posts to be interviewed, he won't exactly be the hot choice will he?

Anyway thanks for the input and the requirements issue has already been scrapped.

hmmm...oh yeah...didn't think about that...lol...yeah it could indeed make them post spam just to get to the required post count...oh and i think it should be open to all people...

Well I didn't exactly mean just them (well I did and have now had second thoughts) but it would be a start. As you said people who have been on this forum for years should have a chance I fully agree with that.

Yeah you have quality members like Zorax, Sureshot and of course James who i'm sure lots of people would be interested in. So the usergroup idea is also scrapped.

I think if you were to put requirements into this, i think post-count AND join date should go into consideration.

I think that you need to take into consideration that there are popular characters with less than 2,000 or even 1,500 posts that have been around for a while now.

I think a join date allowences should be alocated such as being at PC for more than 3-4 months.

Overall i think its a cracking idea and i would be in full support of it.
