Welcome to the lunchtime discussion
Myself and Michael are now joined by Bob Willis and Nasser Hussain
Hello
Hi there
So Bob how do you think this morning session has gone for Kent?
Well Kent have got the runs however there will be a concern about the high amount of wickets lost.
Nasser do you think this is a hard pitch to bat on?
Well when I looked at it this morning there were a few cracks beginning to develop however I think both teams are making hard work on a pitch where high scores are a good probability
Yes but we also have to give credit to the bowlers on both teams. They have bowled good lines and lengths and it has payed of.
It does prove the point to all those young cricketers out there that if you bowl straight you will be rewarded. So how do you think Ashley Giles has been bowling, coming back after his hip-injury. One wicket and he has kept it tight
Well I feel that he is no where near full fitness again but by claiming that one wicket it does show that he is always a threat to the opposition batsmen even when he is not fully fit
Who do you rate more Monty Panesar or Ashley Giles for the vacant England spinner option
I am going to say Monty
Monty as well
I'm going to be different and say Giles
How do you think Kent should play this afternoon session
They should definetly bat a bit more defensively. They have 2 more days, and if van Jaarsveld and Stevens build a big partnership, this match could slip out of Warwickshire's grasp.
Well you have heard the views of these men. After the break we will return back to the action to see how this afternoon session turns out
