Here, it is currently -1 C and sleeting. Earlier it was snowing heavily. I can't go outside without looking like the Michelin man, I can't go outside unless I absolutely need to, and I am fed up of the car windscreen being frozen in the morning. I am also fed up of it being dark at 7am and dark once more at 5pm.

Watching the cricket from Jamaica, I am jealous. There it has been 28 C and sunny. There people were going around with next to nothing on. They were going out to sit and watch a cricket match or go swimming. Their cars aren't frozen, they are meltingly hot in the mornings. There it is light well before 7am and dark well after 5pm.

Post in here to make other people feel better/worse about the weather.

Alright, here in UAE in the summer it is so hot that walking from my building to the supermarket next door leaves my shirt wet.

It's so hot I can't play ANYTHING outdoors. I'm trapped indoors 24/7 due to the heat.

It's so hot I can't go to my friend's place because waiting for the bus is hell. Pretty much literally. It's not enough that the sun has to shine down the back of your neck, making it feel like a frying pan, and leaving your head so hot you can fry an egg on it, but it's so humid and stuffy. Forget feeling like taking off my shirt, I want to take of my skin. I can't breathe cause it's so stuffy. When walking it's like slow torture, you can't think, you refuse to feel, and if you lift your head up the sun shines right into your eyes. It's 40 degrees in the shade. There is no wind. No breeze. Just thick, dense, moist, hot air all around you. You look 50 metres ahead of you and things are wobbling.

In the summers you can't sit near any windows, as the heat kills you. Sitting indoors is difficult too - the AC is cranked up all the way and you still feel hot.

Oh, the worse part is walking out an air-conditioned building into the heat. It's like walking into an oven.

I can't complain about the weather at the moment because it's AWESOME :p Shame I had to be sick for most of the winter, but even now it's pretty good. Cold enough to warrant a jacket in the shade, yet in the sun it's warm, and there are nice cold gusts of wind blowing all over the place. Lovely...

I think it's a psychological thing. The hotter the weather, the happier your mood is. That's why Britain is known to be one of the most depressing places in Europe due to the crap weather and other things too such as endless amounts of Exams. I'd rather live in Dubai than Britain.

Yeahit does take he piss when you watch a cricket match and there are women in bikini roaming around...

Trust me, you wouldn't rather live in Dubai. I personally hate the fact that it's so hot you can only take a shower at the middle of the night, and that you spend your summer holidays cooped up inside the house, because it's too hot. That the only time you can do anything outdoors is at night, or after 4 in the afternoon.

I'm strong. I can handle the heat.

Ok Dubai might be a bit too hot ; but places like New Zealand and Canada would be cool.

Isn't NZ all rain and Canada all snow?

I think Hong Kong is perfect in the summer. Monsoon season! BOO YEA!
Nice weather plus enough rain to drown the entire city :D

How about my home from home, St Julians in Malta? There it is coldest in January at an average of 14 C - that would do me fine! In August the average is 31 C, but when I was there last year it was July and it hit 40 C one day.

Oh, the worse part is walking out an air-conditioned building into the heat. It's like walking into an oven.

I know what that feels like. Well it never gets that hot down here in Goa, but still walking out of an air conditioned restaurant into the hot air outside feels rather insipid. Anyways, the weather's brilliant here right now. Mildly cold at night, otherwise nice and warm during the day, with the mercury around 30.

Weather's been all a bit out of pattern these last few years over here. Unexpected rains, short winters, longer summers! Dunno what's happening this year.

Meh, just average around here really. It's raining and I'd say it'd be like 15 degrees maybe.

However, to any aussie members, NSW in Australia is officially the hottest place on earth this weekend. Go figure.
