The One Day Bands Draft

:eng: Gus Bratkinson is my pick in the 60% Band. While he hasn't yet shown the same level in ODIs as he has in the red ball game, a useful low order bat joins my side.

For the penultimate time..

The first pick will round up our bowling attack with yet another fast bowler, but he might be "the fast bowler" of this lineup.. from the 50% band-

Colin Croft will complete our pace unit which welcomes its first member from the deadly West Indian pace battery of the 1980s. Croft was not as successful or known as your Ambrose, Holding or Garner, but he did the job as part of that scary lineup. With only 19 ODIs to his name he fits in this band, and he's one of the bowlers who carry a lot more substance historically than what his stats say. (An average of 20 for his 30 wickets is far from bad actually). Lillee gets his scary partner.

The next pick, obviously will be a batter. Settling our opening pair, a player from the modern era now to balance things out, from the 40% Band..

Ben Duckett in Waitrose Jersey will live to haunt your dreams but also will add to my batting firepower. He has started off his ODI career in spectacular fashion averaging nearly 50. Hopefully he keeps this up and retires as an ODI stalwart so my XI shall also age very well. But yes, Baz-Ball, Viv Richards, Foakes keeping wicket and a WI 1980s fast bowler, our lineup will hit the history books.
