The PlanetCricket Battrick Sledging Thread

Results and tables have been updated for this week.

The fixtures for next week have also been posted, and before anyone says, yes I am aware that they are just a reverse of the fixtures just gone, but like ive said before, it was all randomly generated and cannot be helped!

I'm afraid I didn't even know that the league had restarted. That said, HopaWhitey didn't challenge me either. So.....?
The home team has to make the challenge in the first place so unfortunately you had to forefitt the game this week. Maybe you can make up for it in the return next week!

So if the home team doesn't make the challenge, the away team don't really have to bother do they? Why should the away team challenge when they would win if they didn't?

OMG! This is my best week in training EVER.

1. Darren Allardyce - 18 yo, BT Rating=20,636
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
An attacking player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: quality Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: abysmal
Fielding: abysmal

4. Evans Mcdonald - 18 yo, BT Rating=20,009
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with feeble leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: worthless Concentration: woeful
Bowling: proficient Consistency: superb
Fielding: competent

These guys are monsters now! Evans McDonald looks so much better than he was an hour ago! The decision to pay a million for him certainly looks good now. If i sold him now (which I won't) I'd get atleast ?1.5 million.

The rules are rules, there is no point in complaining.

The away team are encouraged to make the challenge, but it is still the home teams responsibility to ensure the challenge is made, even after thursday.

how about if the away team logs in to battrcik after thursaday, but dont challenge the game is called a draw?

I had a decent week as well...Waterhouse went to Quality Concentration...Gallacher to Comptent stamina and Armstrong to feeble Concentration...

So, technically speaking if the home team doesn't challenge, then the away team wins even if they don't challenge ?
