Ricky Gervais Show Guide to Arts is absolute genius. Some of Karl's greatest comments, from comparing a jewish mother choosing 1 child to live to an episode of Deal or No Deal, to Whilstling for 2 hours whilst playing Scrabble to discussions about War Poetry. Brilliance. Easily my favourite 'Guide To' so far.

Just read that they've reached over 150 million downloads of the podcast =O A fair few of them would have come when they were free, but I reckon at least 50million would have been paid for. So that's probably about ?70million made, then you've got to take of the admin costs, advertising and all that shabang, so they've probably made at least ?30-40million, Ricky and Steve have struck gold with the round headed buffoon. Bet Karl's loaded himself, yet he still lives in the flat with the boiler problems and the large mirrored wall. Mental.

Guide To Philosophy out today . Been listening and it's been fantastic. Karl coming out with some of his best drivel yet, talking about problem holes in your head and all these other problem things that need to be filled. Hilarious. Also, apparently you can't enjoy things when you're doin 'em as you're busy doin it but after you've done it you can enjoy it. This is class stuff, the next one is out on St Georges Day and is a Guide to The English. Looking forward to that.

Edit: ROFL. Ricky and Steve just asked Karl what he'd want if he could request anything from Jim'll Fix It for him, and the one thing he wants in life is for Jim to fix it for him to be called Bret :laugh The man's a genius.

n00bs like me haven't seen much of Ricky Gervais. I loved him in The Office and Extras. I think there's been a rape up there! Will check out his other stuff, sounds really good. He rules as much as Man D rules.

Major bump but I didn't want to start a new threat when this was already here.

Anyone been watching The Ricky Gervais Show on Channel 4? It's basically the podcasts but a cartoon version on TV. I've never heard any of the podcasts before so I didn't know what to expect from this, but I had high hopes because it was Ricky Gervais. It's just unbelievably funny. Karl Pilkington is an actual genius. The stuff he comes out with is just so brilliant.

I'm Australian and I love Ricky Gervais. I think he's the best comedian to come out of Britian ever, and I have watched the entire Office series 12 times. I have also watched his stand-up acts over 5 times each.

Ricky Gervais and Larry David are my heros of comedy.
