The ICC are just a bunch of despotic, money-grabbing, conscience-free, short sighted whores. They need a massive wake up call, and it seems that only the humble cricket fan can do anything about it. After all, what are the under-funded associates going to do to oust the billion dollar BCCI? Is it time to create a breakaway body for all of the associates, and for the full members with consciences?
Certainly, there seem to be millions, nay - billions, of concerned plebs out there with more idea of running a global sport than the ICC. Why not have a larger twenty-team World cup where the world can actually take part? The lineup would probably be a giant on-running World Cricket League in fifty over and twenty over formats, with a once-every-four-years tournament involving the top 20 teams.
At the same time, it s vital that we are determined to stick it up the ICC's arses. Bombard them with emails, twitter messages, the works.
