This is not exactly a traditional league you would see on Planet Cricket. You get access to exactly all the ratings, and there's actually a lot more nuance/strategy in it than what it seems at first glance. Here's a guide on what everything means.
Player Database
Click on this link to get an exhaustive list of available players. They are also sorted via different filters on different sheets within the spreadsheet; highly recommend you go through them.
Format
6 teams, everyone hosts everyone else home and away to complete the group stage. Top 2 qualify for the final, which is played in neutral conditions.
Pitch Conditions
You get to decide exactly how your home pitch will behave. There are two attributes : Pace and Spin; both with sliders from 0.8 to 1.2
If your Pace and Spin sliders are set at 1; the pitch behaves exactly neutral.
If the sliders for Pace is set below 1, the pitch will assist Pace. You can imagine that a pacer averaging 30 on a pitch with the pace slider set to 0.8 will effectively average (30*0.8 = 24)
If the sliders for Pace is set above 1, the pitch will not assist Pace. You can imagine that a pacer averaging 30 on a pitch with the pace slider set to 1.2 will effectively average (30*1.2 = 36)
Exactly the same for spin. Here's some examples of pitch conditions and how they will behave
Player Rating Guide
In the Player Database sheet you will have seen a lot of columns in the headings. Here's what everything means.
Name : Self explanatory
Country : Self explanatory
Bat Av : The batting rating of the player in the sim
Bowl Av : The batting rating of the player in the sim
Role : WK, Bat, Fast, Med, Spin should be obvious. Having "Open" in the player role makes NO difference in their average opening. You can bat an opener or a non opener anywhere without consequence. PartFast and PartSpin are the same as Fast and Spin but they will bowl less in general.
Bat SR : Just a modifier to the average Bat SR. If a batsman has his SR as "2", he will bat twice as fast as a normal batsman. A batsman with a SR of "0.5" bats half as fast as a normal batsman. Does NOT affect batting average at all, just the balls needed to get there.
Bowl Eco : A modifier to the average bowling economy. If a bowler has economy as "2" they will go at twice the runs per over compared to the average bowler. A bowler with economy "0.5" will give up half as many runs per over compared to the average bowler. Does NOT affect bowling average at all, just the balls needed to get a wicket.
