Thread Closing...

Why are more and more threads getting closed without a reason by the moderator.
For example http://www.planetcricket.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17160
The thread which i made was closed without reason. All you had to do was edit a persons post which is not that hard is it?
I would like you to think about opening the thread

Andrew is PlanetCricket's best moderator and I am sure he had a good reason for closing the thread. I would've if I was fast enough mate.
Alot of obscene things were said in there and I don't think the kids around here would've enjoyed reading it.

The thread was going no-where and nothing good was coming out of it. Members should make positive threads and not focus on negative happenings around the world.
I am sure a man of your stature would understand.

I was not just referring to you. It was a blanket statement regarding certain members on the forum. Threads will be closed for a reason, simple as that. Who wants to waste time editing 20 posts in a thread? Not me!

EDIT: If the thread was left open, it could've turned into 100 posts that we needed to edit. Think about it.

dont mess with anyone here, cuz the site is not ours and i lost much reputation due to that kinda posts, i know i will again loose reputation, but i am in favour of u that it was a general forum, but we cant do anything until we make our own site, some of my threads also have been closed by no mean. i didnt break rules in them and even dont use any negative language there.
