MY Top Ten Films:

1.the great escape (indescribable)
2.the italian job (the proverbial cliffhanger)
3.bill and ted (both, light-hearted and all round fun)
4.monty python the holy grail (too funny for words)
5.kelly's heroes (donald sutherland, as oddball, quality performance)
6.pulp fiction (jsut allround cool)
7.Bridge over the river Kwai (bit of a fetish for war and heist films i know, but this one has some amzing themes in it about how the officers stood up for what they believed in, well i cant explain unless you have seen it)
8.oceans 11 (the original with sinatra, i just the love the ending so much, wont spoil it for anyone though, i jus think its genius)
9.escape to victory, (pele in a film? wow)
10.dodgeball (although only if the intended ending as seen as an extra in the dvd, the cheesy ending just annoys me)


hmmmm a them there seems to be endings that arent cheesy, well i dont know why that is, i like cheesy ending sometimes, but with modern films just seem to be too predictable, if i was a director nobody would know how it would pan out, sometime he gets the girl, sometimes mauled by a polar bear
