Hi guys, i'm trying to download Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition as I want to learn about this stuff. When I go on the installer, I go through all the options and when it comes to the installing it says attempting to re-establish connection to server 1 of 6...until it gets to 6 and just cancels. Why is this?

It worked fine for me. Wonder what's wrong with your installer.
Did you manage to install .Net Framework as I told you.

I suppose its a Microsoft server problem, best, try later.

Yes he has. We were on MSN when he was trying to do it.

It has to be the MS Server, coz i was unable to download the .Net framework myself.

I went on it and it said:
ERROR: Sorry, the _vsexpress_CustomCarousel block has an internal error.

Technical details:
Unable to load XML manifest: d.selectSingleNode is not a function

Which Drive is Windows Installed on?? I'm assuming C:

Open My computer, Right Click on c: and select properties.
In the window that appears, Click on Disk Cleanup.
It might take a little time to bring up another window, but when it does, there will be a list of files to be deleted.
Select the Temporary Internet Files, and the Temporary Files. Then click OK.

This should clear it.

There is another method, but do this 1st, the othher i'll tell over MSN if needed.
