Tutsi's A.I Patch Version : 3.0 Complete Edition

well.....as u said.....there are more 4s in test......by whome? CPU or YOU?

tell me so that i can fix that also in the update.

When batting the CPU posted 451 and did score rather a lot of boundaries. Another prob was that when I batted I got to 150-0 before they changed the field setting as a result I was scoring boundaries willy nilly. After that though it was rather more difficult to time it well thru the gaps. So I'd say the CPU AI and 4 scoring needs to be looked at. Hope this helps.

just checked the save game. I had a bit of a no ball shocker desperately trying to generate some seam and so extras came to a whopping 82 runs (don't ask!!!) So out of a total of 451 only 369 were scored off the bat and 292 of those were boundaries.

Most of the other 76 runs came when the CPU hit the ball to the boundary but I had stationed a man there. There weren't many hit thru gaps in the field for 2/3.

by contrast of the 366 runs I scored off the bat only 172 were boundaries. However, this could just be a reflection of my poor batting ability. Anyone else had similar results?

I'm currently bowling the 2nd Innings and the Windies aren't playing as well - fewer boundaries this time. Will let you know at the end of the innings.

So for the late reply, been watching the cricket! I think the cpu boundry hitting needs to be toned down a bit, the human boundreys arent to bad, but could maybe do with a small tweak going by what fishbowlman said. In my view one dayers are spot on though!

Yeah - can only comment on 5-day level, but the fast outfield means mis-timed 4's from both cpu and human. Even on bad shots, the confidence meter goes up, so I have slowed the outfield slightly using the config editor to stop this from happening.

Of course, when a cpu / human gets to good confidence, 4's will be reasonably easy to get - that's the nature of a hard / fast outfield. I just want to remove the 14 runs / per over for the 1st 10 or so overs when you want to have some close fielders in place for the bounce and occasional edge from the new ball.

At the moment I would not suggest adjusting the "balls faced" setting as this applies to every pitch type, and so far I have had realistic games on "normal" and "green" pitches.

yep this sounds all good! I would like to add Tutsi that i feel the one day hard pitch needs a bit of tweaking, i found it to easy to hit 4's, the ball just keeps going and going. Its great fun though, but unrealistic

well....it will be intresting to know what kind of field(manual) you use and where often do you bowl.

u can upload ur profile file which will have all the fields saved in it.

well....necessary tweaks have been done and the patch will be releasing 2day only.....i'll try to.

the outfield has been slowed down and the CPU hits less 4s.

Bonus : Some shots have also been edited which will make batting even more harder but the stroke direction and all will be far better than it was originally in the game.

Looking forward to it Tutsi. Great work.

Will I able to patch this straight over my existing GOB file or will I need to use the original? Also will it affect my tour in progress.

well...u'll need an original GOB file.

and NO....it won't affect ur tour in progress. u'll see the chnges when you resume your match after applying the patch.

Tutsi's A.I Patch Version : 3.1 Beta Edition

this is the beta version of of my update.

in this several features have been improved and a few have been fixed.

1. The cpu now plays realisitc in test matches, cutting down on 4s.
2. The outfield speed have been reduced.
3. Swing, Seam, Spin have been tweaked.
4. For the first time stroke files have been edited.
5. Other minor tweaks here n there.

*Although this version of the patch is complete in itself yet i call it a bets version coz in this only few strokes have been edited.
