Every 2 years, so they are in a WC year

Damn! So next year if I get a really good youth pull they won't be able to play in the World Cup. Maybe I should just wait till the season after.

AHAHAHA ELI IS GETTING SMASHED!

20.2 6 Eli to Nabi
Nabi sweeps that one over square leg and it ends up in the hands of a young fan. He may have a future in cricket one day.

20.4 6 Eli to Nabi
Did it carry all the way? The third umpire says it did. Six runs.

20.5 4 Eli to Nabi
Nabi has punished that straight past London in the covers.

Ludlam's stats looking pretty nice 4 games in. The batting unsurprisingly a bit shakey against U19 bowling, but he's only had 2 innings, the first a good 19 in a game where England got skittled, and a golden in the second. Bowling's economical and dangerous though.

U19's & NAT Discussion

I just received this message:

Malcolm Stanton has been called up to his National U19 Squad. This will mean that he is not available for selection for any games between Monday and Wednesday inclusive.

Very happy. Three seasons of training has finally paid off.

Anyone else have had player's play for their country at any level?

Hehe congrats on the promotion. I wonder how they will use him seeing hes a cautious bowler. I'm certainly having problems on how to play them.

I had Mark Ludlam as an U19 a couple of seasons ago, and George Earle is still in with a chance this season.

Well currently the Australian team has a lot of attacking bowlers so I assume he will bowl with a defensive state of mind.

Very would be the answer.

Stanton took the first wicket of the match and finished the innings. He had figures of 1/60 which wasn't too bad but Australia won which was the main point.
