hello all. please post your thoughts on the umpiring in this Ashes series, or who think the best and worst umpires are.

Also, vote on who you think the best (accuracy and correctness) umpire in world cricket of late is.

for me, The best umpire is Aleem Da, and in this Ashes series i think the umpiring from Keortzen and Bowden has been appaling for both teams.

Well umpires make mistakes, but it really amazes me the amount of times they get it right. Its no easy job, as you very well should be knowing, and to get so many decisions correct, I think is simply great!

Shepo was and still is my favourite umpire, and among the current ones I'd go with young Simon Taufel.

I think Steve Bucknor gets more wrong now than he ever has, but I agree with Taufel being very, very good. I've always thought Rudi Koertzen's a good umpire too, hasn't covered himself in glory today though (Pietersen and Bell decisions)...

Aleem Da, Simon Taufel and Billy Bowden are the best umpires in my opinion.

I think Aleem Da is very good.

Rudi Koertzen can always be relied upon to make at least 1 glaring great balls-up in every match he umpires.
