The physics for the Source Engine which Valve created for HL2 comes with a full SDK and is fully custimizable, can EA use the valve source engine which has now been recognised as having the best physics engine ever made for cricket 2004?

Could it be adopted to a cricket game? what other games has it been used for.

I think EA use Renderware for Cricket 2004, I read somewhere that EA have bought the company that makes Renderware so proberbly their future games will use this.

they made a racing game out of the original Half life`s engine and there is an RPG out already using the HL2 engine

That's right. The Grand Theft Auto games (GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas) use this engine, so I would hope the next EA cricket game would look as great as those games.

I just think we can get together and use any good opensource engine to develop our own cricket game "CMC 2006(Cricket by Modding Community 2006), in any case our first priority has always been sound AI. What do u all think ?
