That's pretty good for Dernbach. Anything below 20 is an achievement.

Good to see Kieswetter in the runs already . Slow knock but very much needed and probably should be in the England squad in limited overs (top scorer last year as well). Nannes looks a very canny signing. His punditry shows a good cricket brain and has the skills to match.

I don't think we'll see Kieswetter trying to score insanely quickly in T20s though. He tends to try to anchor the innings, so Tres and Trego can really put the hammer down around him. It's the kind of innings he's got very good at though, judging the pitch and what a good score will be.

My only worry about Nannes was his age. I.e whether he still bowls that quick or that well. On paper he looks a very good signing, especially as he'll be around all season. Be interesting to see how he goes on TV tomorrow.

Also...Does anyone know what the prize is for hitting that massive inflatable pig?

I keep on switching on half way through matches so don't know the answer to this either!

And I can imagine Middlesex are shelving the idea of two matches in one day after losing both today.

Pretty incredible from Kent, so that one can be forgotten about. The competition in general seems to have a bit of a buzz around it this year. Maybe Friday nights isn't as bad as once thought?
