Was bored in photoshop....

I've been doing sigs for a forum absed game I play, and I was bored and did this up quick, for my favourite Queensland player Jimmy Maher.

Anyhoo, chalked this up quickly. Not really happy with the way the text works with the background, ohwell. Any thoughts for this relative newcomer to photoshop about this?

Very Basic Start as you would say,

The text in the first Signature is not really clear, very hard to read. Believe me or not, I love that Background. Also very nice use of the colours. Very "Grungy" indeed.

The second Signature could have been alot better, not the best font ever, certainly the renders need to be worked on, I see no lighting effects.

Overall Good try, you should improve if you work hard.
