bro I recently played RDR 1 to relive my childhood. RDR2 surpasses it in almost every way however the storyline was just as good. I'd recommend you play that for John Marston's story if you haven't

I have played RDR 1 and I totally agree with you. Both of the RDR games are some of the best games ever made (Maybe THE best).
I played RDR 1 when I was 11 (oh how time has flow by). I had actually ordered the standard edition of the game but Amazon sent me the Game Of The Year Edition !!! I was sooooo happy that day.

Have you played the Undead Nightmares DLC as well ? If not, you should try it. It's a lotta fun.

I hope they make a third game because imo this series is better than GTA. I prefer good, emotional and heartfelt stories over big explosions, guns and fast cars. The RDR games provide us a moment of calmness within the game. Things such as sitting with a person who's playing a guitar on the side of the road by a fire is just so beautiful and peaceful (just like the Stalker games). It gives us a break from the fast world that we live in. It helps us appretiate the smaller things in life.

I think the story of GTA VI just won't be as good as the ones in the RDR games. I hope Rockstar prove me wrong.

What I feel that they will do in GTA VI is that they will completely revolutionize NPC behaviour in games and push the boundaries for photorealsim in games.
