Where does your 'keeper bat?

Interested to see if the old 'keeper bats at 7' mentality is going strong.

Mine bats at 7 or 8 usually.

I play with a five bowler attack, as Surrey. Tim Ambrose is my keeper. When I first got him, I had him at three, then I signed Bopara and got two 60+ second team average regens, so he has fallen to 6, however I am considering putting him at 3 again in FC cricket because of his defensive style.

When he's on International Duty, Carl Gazzard bats at 8

As Australia, unless they average over 45, then I put them at 7. Anything over and they're in to open, whether they like it or not ^^

It always depends on the players in the side for me. If it's a decent batsman, then probably 6 or 7, perhaps 8 if I have a decent all rounder. However, I have played games where I've had a brilliant Keeper/Batsman so I put him at 3 and other times I've had a keeper as opener due to a lack of players for that position.
