I wanna go to US, so that I can get away from swedish.
Nope, unfortunately, I can't say have. I've heard great things about it though.
A couple of isolated incidents and places (About which, BTW, the Government is taking action against firms who don't treat workers well, even if they were just 5% of the total construction going on), doesn't reflect the whole picture. The workers protesting?
The Guardian must have photoshopped all those photos of the workers living quarters then.
I'd say working in somewhere like Dubai is a harsh danger (heat and humidity).

And yes it is horrible with the heat, humidity and sandstorms, but the workers aren't made to work in harsh heat, and a large labour force means not one person is doing large amounts of work. Lots of water is supplied (of course), and protective gear.
I live in Caracas, Venezuela at the moment but I would much rather live in New Delhi, India like I was before I moved here.
Why do people wanna go to empty places like Canada, ?I mean common China.. YAH!
33 Million people isn't quite empty.
Canada...
...is a peaceful nation with no enemies, good international relationships (including with Cuba), and is at minuscule risk for a terror attack.
...has socialized medicine that Canadians report satisfaction with. No Canadian goes without health care.
...has no death penalty.
... has tough gun control laws, and, it just so happens, a murder rate about three times lower than that in U.S.
...has a general maternity leave of one year off for mothers, at 80 percent of their salary.
... has a more balanced education system, where schools in poor areas deliver the same quality of education as those in wealthy locales.
...Save yourself from having to memorize fifty state capitals.
...No President Bush![]()
