Sport shops are a waste of time. You need to go to a cricket specialist.

Your biggest problem is going to be in finding a Reebok bat as they're not a manufacturer (strictly speaking). You can either buy a blank bat and sticker it yourself or go with another brand.

I can pass on the addresses of a couple reputable shops in your area if you like.

Other than that you should be able to find English willow in India but you have to be very careful as they will often pass off Kashmir willow as English.

yes please, thank you

I'm going into town on Saturday and will be extremely tempted to buy a bat. I love the look of This , but i really dont think i need one. My Torch is fine, and although i'm not a fan of my Powerbow its a good bat. I have been hearing some suspicious noises coming from my torch though. The handle almost seems to crack when i swing in a cut stroke sort of motion. Doesnt sound promising.

Don't go in there with a thought of which bat you want to buy because of how it looks. Pick up all the bats and play a few air shots with them. Make sure you have the right bat for you, not the best looking. I'd rather time the ball better with an ugly bat than hit it horribly with a good looking bat.

good point. The Gunn and Moore catalyst is very shexy though. I thought i liked the feel of the GN Powerbow, but think i ordered one too heavy. I ordered medium instead of light. I'll go in and have a feel though. If i am particularly happy with a certain bat, if its a good price i will seriously consider it. If its not cheap, i'll look online.

Im must admit they are dead shexy. I picked one up when I went to get my latest bat, just didn't feel right though.

Catalysts play well if treated nicely :p IE - well knocked in etc. If not, its like trying to bat with a tree, bark n all!

Best bat by far is the Fusion, if i had the money to waste on a bat i didnt particularly need, id go for it.

Can anybody help me? I am going to buy a new bay but I don't know which one.

I want to choose between the following. They are all Harrow size.

Kookaburra Kahuna 5 star
Kookaburra Ice Sub zero (5 star)
Kookaburra Genesis 10000
Grey Nicolls Fushion 5 star
Grey Nicolls Predator 5 star

Which bat would you guys recommend?

Well the Kahuna is meant to be very good but it is simply up to you what feels the best for you. I have a Diablo personally but it's out of stock these days.

The Fusion is a cracking bat, go with that imo. I'm not a massive fan of Kookaburra bats, had a feel of a few and they dont feel right for me. Its up to you though, probably best to try all of them and feel which one is best and go from there.
