All,

I've just renewed my PC. On my old one I used the Microsoft sidewinder gamepad for the cricket, and it was a little tricky to use. I'm in the market for a new USB (PC) game pad. Does anyone else have any recommendations for game pads which are the most compatiable - i.e. best - for the game?

I have to change the gamepad as the port which the MS plugged into no longer exists on the new PC.....

I've been looking at the Saitek ones, but am not sure.

Any advice, experiences gratefully accepted.

Cheers,

:help

If you have a PS2 gamepad you can use it fine on Cricket 2005 with a converter for about ?5 from play.com.

Ive got a Saitek wireless on as well but i'm never sure if there is a slight delay in pressing the buttons and something happening or if my timing when batting is just crap. I use the PS2 one just to make sure.

I'd recommend the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad. Best value for money and performance. Comes with a good software which lets you edit the controls so that you do not need programs like JOYTOKEY.

I've got a Logitech Rumbelepad 2 USB Gamepad, it works a treat.
It has a nice feel to it and has a good weight to it aswell.
I picked it up at my local EB Games store for AU$25.50
a couple of days before Christmas.
