Well, they speak two major languages in Ceylon ( for those who do not know, Ceylon means Sri Lanka ). One is Sinhalese and the other is Tamil.

But it is slightly different from what we speak in India.

Be serious. Vettori can not trouble even South Africa, and the Indians are arguably the best players of spin in the world. Do you mean to say that he will destroy the line-up containing Sehwag, Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman. Each one of them play spin better than anyone else.

First of all yes I'm Sri Lankan. (Not Ceylonese :P MY grand father was ceylonese not me :tease: )
And I'm Sinhalese. What Iniyan said was pretty accurate. But the Tamil ppl living in the hill country (Kandy etc.) speak the Indian Tamil if I'm not mistaken. Colombo Tamils speak an ever so slightly different Tamil.
