i think there is no one who can beat mathew hayden this time at being called the number 1 player in the world. with tendulkar loosing the flair that he had i think he would also start to loose some of his fans to virender sehwag, who i have to admit is very bad choise as an opener in both form of cricket.

:cheer:

Got to be Hayden, although most of that aussie top six is magical!!! Saying that for consistency you cant look further than Steve Waugh

well tendulkar just got his 35th hundred and then a 68 against the aussies
He's the best batsman

Hayden got out for zero in a match in tvs cup

Hmmm after Haydens world record he hasn't lived up to the ecspectations.....he hasn't played well in the TVS cup.....so for me Tendulkar at no spot and Lara the second.... :D

Just because Hayden has the highest test score does not make him the best batsman. If that is the case, then is he better than the Don? And, look at Jayasuriya, he is one of the top run scorers and still does not even get into the reckoning.

Its Tendulkar for sure. He's the highest scorer in world cup 2003 and always is expected to score at least a half century due to his talent.

yep thats right Tendulkar is surely the best.....he is the leading runs scorer in Odi with 35th centuries.....surely better than Hayden!

Tebdulka no one can ever argue about that but i still think india r a one man team b.c tendulka dos most the work
