IPL Why not make good use of the fines imposed???

Its been 3 games so far and 3 captains- Ganguly, Sachin, Gambhir have been fined Rs.9 lakhs($20,000) each for SLOW OVER RATE. Although I welcome the move of the IPL to instill discipline, that is a massive amount.

So why not make good use of it?

I think the IPL should donate this amount to NGOs coz an amount like Rs.9 lakhs will be a huge boost for their initiatives.

Or maybe they could pump the money they receive in fines this season into other sports? Or give a helping hand to ZCB or PCB (the awesome exchange rate makes it a huge amt for these boards), although there is no obligation or need for them to. It would however, be a welcome step.
