This guy is ruining his team's chances of winning games by constantly playing Mahela Jayawardene, who is woefully out of form.

Theron, despite a MOTM performance in Game 1 and a decent Game 2, was dropped when Brett came back, when they could have actually boosted the bowling dept by dropping Mahela outright. Or if they did need an Overseas player to boost the batting, why not give Adrian Barath a few more chances.

Sangakkarra has really ruined Kings XI Punjab with his hands-on-the-hip, blame deflecting and parochial approach.

I feel sorry for Kings XI. :facepalm

And it will be really interesting to see if they again drop an in-form player (Marsh), to boost the captain's ego :facepalm

For Preity's sake, she should just sell this team and buy stake in Rajasthan Royals. Atleast RR has the bloody fire in their belly to win. :facepalm

Lets hope Kings XI Punjab pull out all the stops to win rest of the games :)

Theron NEEDS to play. I can't believe they are not playing him when he literally won them their first game of the season. WTF??

Money over team/cricket.
We all know that Lee is one of the most popular non Indian cricketers in India and he brings people to the stadium. They want to see him bowl fast and the owners realize that they can use him and get some money.

Owners are not stupid. They will lose more money (and popularity which equals money) if they keep losing.

I think getting Sanga in as captain was a bad move overall. I'm not the biggest Yuvraj fan but the team performed better under his leadership. Sangakkara isn't the best T20 player either and as captain he automatically occupies an overseas slot.

I would drop Jayawardene. Either open with Pathan or send him in at number 3, he looked good batting up the order vs CSK.

Aah fair enough. TBH, Jayawardene should go, Marsh is easily the better T20 player. I'd be going with Marsh, Sangakkara, Lee and Theron for Punjab. What happened to Abdulla?

He sucks. You've got to have Bopara, he's been Punjab's most consistent performer.

I would take a bold move and drop Sangakkara.

Yuvraj seems to be demoralized after losing captaincy. I dont see him performing for himself even. Theron needs to be in team in place of Jayawardena(if they are not dropping Lee). Also strategy is not falling in the place. For both Lee and Pathan 1 over was wasted from their allocated 4 overs. Why cant they have them used properly? I dont see a good captain in Sanga and biased approach is killing all.

TBH they have one of the best bowling attacks barring maybe MI. If utilized properly, Lee, Theron, Pathan, Piyush, Powar can be an absolute handful. Add to that Yuvraj's handy pies and you've got a pretty dangerous T20 bowling attack. Batting is the problem.

Punjab have always relied on their opening batsman in the past. They had Luke Pomersbach, James Hopes, and Shaun Marsh firing consistently. Pommers is in jail or something, Marsh has just arrived and Hopes isn't in India. So obviously it has been tough for them.

Well I hope they keep making profit as they go out of the semi finals.
K11Punjab = Biggest failure of IPL 2010.
