Collins 6 overs 2 maidens 24 runs 1 wicket
Hinds 13 overs 4 maidens 39 runs 1 wicket
Gayle 15 overs 3 maidens 41 runs 2 wickets

Gower: " Well its lunch on day 3 and england have reached 137/4. We have seen that the west indies still had the better of the two in this session. As you will see, this session yielded 81 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Trescothick played a very well supported innings of 51 before holing out to midoff off Hinds, and then Butcher was bowled by Gayle off a delivery which kept very low and then Strauss took a pair, when he was caught at silly point off the next delivery. Vaughn and Thorpe put in a partnership of 50, which really boosted england, until just 5 mins to go before lunch, Collins the partnership breaker, had Vaughn to pull a short ball, which he couldn't get under to Colleymore at square leg. Nonetheless, its a balanced test match thus far, and will continue to do battle for the upcoming session. England's lead is 113 runs with 6 wickets in hand."

Edwards 4 overs 0 maidens 22 runs 0 wickets

Mikey: " Well in this session it has been all england. They have almost taken full command, turning the tables on the west indies in just one session of play. England in this session have put on 121 runs in just 27 overs, scoring at well over 4 an over. It's been Freddie, and Freddie. Thorpe and Flintoff put up the shutters on the west indies, with a sparkling 62 run partnership, before Thorpe was brilliantly run out. However, Read and Flintoff continued with another half century partnership, before Hinds picked up Read caught at mid on for 24. After that Flintoff went bezerk, hitting a few lusty blows off the spinners and using his feet well. Its been tough luck and tough work for the west indies, and with Flintoff on 70* things can only get worse for Lara here. The overall lead is 234 runs with 4 wickets in hand, with a final session to go in this crucial 3rd test match."

Athers: ? Well England here at tea have placed themselves in a very strong position. After tea, Freddie got stuck into the bowling, and posed so many problems for Lara to the point that he (Lara) couldn?t find a decent pair of bowlers to bowl in tandem. Flintoff completed a glorious ton, just what was needed here to literally take the game away from the windies. Dillon finally got Freddie?s scalp, and then got Giles, followed shortly by Read who skied one off Hinds. However Hoggard, has being a thorn here unbeaten on 33 and Harmison can bat a bit, so then the West Indies are not of the woods yet, in trying to end england?s 2nd innings. The lead is 348 with 2 wickets left, at stumps here on day 3.?

Ian: ? Good morning to everybody, welcome to the penultimate day or the 4th day of this 3rd and crucial test match. It?s a beautiful day for cricket here today. Reminding you that England is 348 runs ahead with 2 wickets left, and are looking for every run here to put the west indies under a load of pressure here. We have Mikey down there with the pitch analysis.?

Mikey: ? Well it?s a typical day 4 track. Its hard and the ball really turn here. No surprise that Giles will be called on very early here by Vaughn. What England will want to do here, is to get as close to 400 and then get in at the west indies, having enough time to bowl at them as they push for the win. So the west indies most likely will have to negotiate how well they are to bat as this game draws to an end.?

Gower: ? Well England have done well past all expectations here. They have managed to give the west indies in excess of 400. The last 2 wickets contributing to more than 50 runs, a bonus to england?s massive 433 all out and a headache to Lara and his troops, as they have yet again allowed the tail enders to outplay them. England managed in this session up to 12:03 pm to score 61 runs for these last 2 wickets, and now have given the west indies a target of 410 runs to win. The west indies bowling has been a tragedy in this English 2nd innings, too ordinary and did not bowl length and line here. The spinners did the bulk of the work load as was expected from day 3, sending down in excess of 70 overs and managing 5 wickets between them. So this is the situation, the west indies need 410 runs with more than a day here, enough time to get those runs, but England will have the upper hand here or should have the upper hand as they are set here for what looks like a 2-1 series lead. Harmison and Hoggard may just get a bit here, with a deteriorating wicket, but Giles will be england?s talisman here I feel. Ofcourse there is the Lara factor, and the west indies will be hoping that he gets a big innings or someone gets a big one for them.?

Collins 17 overs 1 maiden 71 runs 0 wickets
Hinds 39 overs 7 maidens 136 runs 3 wickets
Gayle 33 overs 3 maidens 135 runs 2 wickets
Edwards 4 overs 0 maidens 22 runs 0 wickets
Dillon 7 overs 1 maiden 32 runs 2 wickets

Athers: ? Well its lunch on day 4 and west indies in pursuit of 410 are 56/1. Chris Gayle who played a cameo got out for 32 edging one off Anderson to Vaughn at second slip, and Ganga and Joseph have kept their wickets intact. So the west indies have begun solidly here, but England need only 9 more to get.?

Giles 11 overs 1 maiden 47 runs 0 wickets
Flintoff 6 overs 0 maidens 16 runs 0 wickets

Jeffery: ? Its tea on day 4 and England have done remarkably well here. In this session the west indies have scored 84 runs, but the loss of 2 crucial wickets. Joseph never looked comfortable against Giles edging a few which didn?t carry and got a few streaky boundaries. He didn?t survive long after when Hoggy got him to drive loosely and was taken by the captain, and then Ganga who played so well, technically well here, got a similar delivery from Harmison and lossely drove to Butcher at first. So it?s the pacers who have done the job thus far for Vaughn and Giles has suffered a bit goin at over 4, but was unlucky not to get a wicket here. Lara?s on 34* and looks good and Chanders jus joined him. It?s a tough uphill task now, needing 263 more with only 7 wickets in hand and a session remaining here on day 4.?

Ian: " Well its stumps here on day 4 and the west indies are 228/5. England have made precious inroads into the west indies lineup, as they push here for a famous victory at Old Trafford. Lara here was the key to hold this west indies victory, with a well played 74. However it was Mark Butcher with his swingers which got one through Lara's defences and Chanderpaul flashed a wide delivery to slip. That was the turning point of this test match, as england have their eyes set on a 5th day win. Hinds and Baugh are the last recognized batsmen and england will feel that its only a matter of time before the tail is exposed, and a 2-1 series lead. However what a spell by a change bowler by Butcher and great captaincy by Vaughn. He saw that the other bowlers weren't penetrative enough to Lara and decided to just change things a little here, and what a delivery it was swinging back into Lara, who played all over. West Indies were just starting to keep england at bay, until Vaughn made that crucial change and now this match has taken yet another twist. Join us here tomorrow as england push here for the win. England need 5 more wickets here and west indies need 182 more in 90 overs at just over 2 an over with 3 sessions to play."
