I think a world series should be started with 10 non test playing teams

It would be only for these non-test playing teams.

For example:

Group A

Namibia
Uganda
Kenya
UAE
Argentina

Group B

Holland
Canada
Ireland
Scotland
Afghanistan

The format of the tournament will be Pro35/Pro40.

3 home and away matches in group stage, best of three semi finals and finals.

Following would be a SPECIAL MATCH between the winner of this and the winner of the ICC World Cup.

It will be a five month tourney.

It will have big budget proper marketing and coveraged around the world by reputed channels, and each team will play only 6 matches per month 3 at home & 3 away country.

The 3 Finals will be in selected grounds around the world

It will help talents from these countries like Ryan Ten Doeschate,Dockrell,Rizwan Cheema to get recognition

Teams will be grouped so that they require minimum travelling.......we will get sponsors no doubt..ICC will itself be the biggest sponsor and we can rope in sachin tendulkar,ganguly,mcgrath as ambassadors

Players shall be given full time contracts.

The jersey designs and tv graphics and presentation will be awesome and stadium facilities improved

Matches will be held only on wed/sat/sun

It will be held every 2 years starting 2012.

China has a great potential coz of its population & area & govt support to cricket.

It's all well and good to give them more matches but it's a professional solution to an amateur problem. It's the old notion of what test players had to endure in the past where they had to take time off their day jobs to play. In many instances take their holidays or leave without pay.

And what about their jobs? How will they earn money? These are amateur cricketers how can they compete in a tournament that takes 5 months! Surely with 6 games a month that would mean at least half a month of work and away from home, for 5 months straight. Not going to happen.

What will there be, 10 people at the ground and 20 people watching on T.V.
