However, there's no denying this was a spinning pitch, and when Jason Roy's Liton-esque knock was ended, Mehedi and the other spinners took control.

After a disastrous start against the pace battery of Starc and Tye, only a classic slowburn by Mohammad Nabi got the Afghans over 100.



The Aussies were much more restrained than against the Dutch (to be fair this may have been not wanting to be dismissed by Rashid or Mujeeb) but David Warner ensured they had a comfortable victory.
