no because you can use the same team as the ashes as it is in the same season (season goes from april 2006 - april 2007)

and i'm pretty sure nobody from that team retires so you can take them to the world cup and then into the australian summer of 07-08 and then the pakistan tour afterwards. then after that, the next season (08/09) and onwards it gets really tricky with the bowling but the batting is good

i usually replace warne and mcgrath with tait and bracken, but rofe also gets good and andrew mcdonald. i don't think i've ever seen a good spinner after warne, so i just use white who does quite well

MY odi team in 2008 is as follows:
Jaques
Haydos
Ponting
Hussey
Clarke
Gilchrist
Symonds
Johnson
Tait
Cullen
Clark

Works a treat, i won the 07 world cup and am unbeaten in odi series, this is on icc 06 btw. Its works a treat as i have batting down to number 8, great pace bowlers, players who can stick through the whole innings (jaques/ponting) and there is experience with symonds, gilly, hayden, ponting and clark.

Tests - bat - 42, bowl - 24
ODIs - bat - 61 (he's low in the order and doesn't get out much, bowl - 18

that's after about 15 tests and 40 odi's
