Best FPS of the year=Half Life 2 or Far Cry or Doom 3 or Halo 2.Very tough choice.All those games are awesome.

Best RTS of the year=LOTR:BFME or Rome:Total War

Best Action game of the year=Metal Gear Solid 3 or GTA:SA

Best Driving/Racing game of the year=NFSU 2 or Burnout 3 or Toca 2 or GT4(most likely)

Best Sports Game of the year=PES 4(my pick) or Madden NFL 2005(most popular)

Best RPG=LOTR:TTA or Star Ocean
