Xbox Live down?

I would be asking for my money back if I paid for Xbox LIVE, you are paying for a service you are not getting/getting very poor quality service and that is not on.

Why? Its a 2week thing, they'll sort it.

Its fustrates me so much with remarks like that, thats life, things break, things are fixed, things die down. Its an over-see from what we've seen from Microsoft and i'm sure next christmas it'll be dodgy, but hopefully they'll make sure its only minimal. I'm not expecting wonders, just for a Live service that works. Either way, Live is so much better than the PSN, i mean, its a cheap console, its ?40 a year for pure porn when it comes to online play.

Like Eamon says, asking for money back would be asking for ?1.50, now i don't know about but i don't overly need that, and i'd rather Xbox have it to learn from mistakes.

It doesn't matter how much things cost, if you are handing money over to someone to give you a service and they respond by using ****-poor incapable servers and rely on commitments such as work and school to reduce the pressure on the server then they are not worthy of getting my money. It's not that Microsoft can't upgrade the servers, it's that they just want to save time and money, which is not showing loyalty to the customers who have paid for their console and online features.
If my internet connection was not working for 2 weeks, I would make sure it either got sorted or I got my money back.

Online gaming is to play games online, what can you do with the PS3? Play games online without a yearly fee on servers which don't collapse when they get busy. XBL is no better than PSN if it is not working in busy times.

Over exaggeration of the year.

I'm pee'd off with MS but when Live is working properly which it has been for most of it's time it's lightyears ahead of PSN which is just lacking so much.

Imagine if PSN was ?40 a year, and people brought it and found out how crap it is that would cause an uproar so it's free because it's crap and not worth paying for.

PSN lets you play games online against other people, exactly what online gaming is meant to do, anything else is unnessecary and just extras.
A free, stable, adequate service > A paid-for unreliable service will heaps of extras.

No theres a lot of other features just to name one: You can contact your friends without having to exit out of a game, you can also read messages without having to exit out of a game.

Those two examples may not seem a lot but make a load of difference....
