My bests are as follows.
Test; 253* from 310 balls
4 for 45 from 25 overs
7!!!!runouts in two innings' (yes i got 7 from 20 wickets just from runouts)

One Day; 99* from 102 balls. I have never got a century in a one day match
6 for 28 from 10 overs
3 runouts.

HA HA, ofcourse i havn't, in Maritzburg we call our 5 day matches' tests. It makes it seem closer to International level.

Well, I'm a one-day specialist. That's because we don't play 5 day matches in here.

The maximum number of overs I've played is 50. We play 40 over matches very often.

Really? Thats unusual is it not? Most amount of overs 50! Where are you located?
We have 5 day matches of 45 overs a day.
What is local cricket like in England and Australia?

In Englands league cricket, it varies between 40/50 overs a side and 2 day matches. I think it's similar in Australia, but I'm not certain.

So does that mean that We are the only country to let the league's have 5 day matches??
Why doesn't England and Australia allow League 5 day matches?

If your 5 day matches are 45 overs a day giving 235 overs, then they're not much longer than the 2 day league cricket played in England which are 100 overs a day giving 200 overs.

in australia our school has 50 over matches.

or

sometimes 25 over night matches

my best in the 50 over matches is 131. i batted through the whole innings (im a opener)

my average is about 39

Hey Maritzburg_boy, I'm from India. We play tests only in the first class matches here. Else, it's very rare to see people play 5 day matches. The cricket goes on mainly during the Saturday, Sunday time.

Apart from the county championship, which has 4 day games there is still a fair bit of cricket over 2 days in length.

There is the 3 day games in the minor county championship

3 day friendlies between county sides and university sides

A 4 day game between Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

A 4 day game between Scotland and Ireland.

And of course the various games played by touring sides.

There are also various friendly games played over 3 days, including the occasional club side, or sometimes combined sides from two different leagues, but most club cricket is of one day length, with some two day games.
