Youth Regens?

i wondering what success people have had with regens so far. im in my 4th season and not had much, players like adil rashid and stuart broad are both getting better and mahmood and anderson at lancashire have both become great bowlers and gotten central contracts. but all the regens i get dont seem to improve no matter how much i play them. anyone else had a regen improve?
this is the only area which i feel ICC has been better in the past and i was really hoping that its good this time, as in 15 seasons time there wont be any world class players if they dont improve
